This is a story in several parts. My search and reunion road has been long. At times it has been uplifting; at others, it has brought me to my knees. It is an ongoing project, and the links to the completed parts are below.

The reunion continues, but the original story seems complete to me. Life since finding my birthfamily has gone on, as it always does, and i have not added any chapters since the birth of my first child. My second child is due September '04, and it will likely be some time before there are any updates here. As of the current time, I'm still in touch with Vicki and my grandmother, and sporadically with the rest of the family. I have had no contact with my birthmother since before the birth of my daughter in 2001. I think that there is always something positive to be found in reunion, even if you don't end up having relationships with all of the birthfamily members that you searched for. Please take this story for what its worth - its just one adoptee's search story, and whether you think the outcome is happy or sad, its just how things turned out for me. Thanks for coming here and letting me share my story with you - Now pull up a chair, pour a cup of coffee, and join me on the strangest journey of my life.
