My Resumé

|
Chowan
Courses
Starting in August 2000, I will be an Instructor
of Information Systems at CHOWAN
COLLEGE in Murfreesboro, NC. Here you will find links
to schedules, outlines, assignments and other materials
concerning the Fall 2000 courses I'll be teaching.
Effective July 1, 2000, I will no longer be a
member of the Halifax Community College faculty. I
have enjoyed my 9-year tenure at HCC and wish its Staff,
Faculty, and (most importantly) its Students continued
success.
Persona
Technology
- During the remainder of the summer, I will be
launching a business specializing in personal digital
devices: Persona Technology. Be sure to check out
Persona for Palm, Pocket PC, Wireless Web capable phones,
and other cool gear for the 21st Century Professional.
Our ScholarPC is the ultimate back-to-school
system, incorporating a spacesaver PC, targeted software,
and a PDA standard!

The Dominion
Project
Briefly, Dominion is my own personal effort to
improve the way we are able to browse and retrieve
information from the Web. Phase I is now being
implemented, based solely on current Web technologies. A
more exhaustive explanation of the project, complete with
history and its proposed evolutionary path, will be
posted here later.

Studies
Starting in Spring 1999, I began working towards
a Masters degree in Computer Science at East
Carolina University. This page will link to
descriptions of some of my projects and classes.
Music
and Theater
- Not only do I enjoy all sorts of music (a good way to
drive your kids crazy is to actually like some of the
things they listen to!) but I am an occasional bassist.
Here you will find links to a page describing my
gear, sites featuring some of my
favorite bands, as well as some
bass-related sites I can personally recommend and some
personal projects I have on the back burner.
-
- I've also been involved in community theater. Here's
you'll see what shows I've done at Lakeland
Cultural Arts Center in Littleton, NC. I'm
currently playing bass for Lakeland's production of
Grease!

Politics
- This about sums everything up for my political
beliefs. The American Experiment didn't fail; it was
strangled first by the Civil War, then by rampant 20th
Century Federalism. We can only hope to return to the
ideals of our Founding Fathers of a government restrained
by our Constitution. A first step would be to VOTE
LIBERTARIAN this November. Click on the Harry
Browne link (to your left) to learn more about
America's third largest political party (no, it's NOT the
Reform Party!)
