The Bayou Horseshoe Pitchers Association was organized December 9, 1997
Two organizations, The LA 70 Ringers ( The first charter club in the area ) and
The Atchalafaya Horseshoe Pitchers united as one.

1998 League Highlights
Rodney Fromenthal posted a 65% game in the Spring League and a 72.5% game in the Summer League, which is the highest game on record for a local player. Jimmy Percle previously held the record for a 70% game for 3 weeks. Congratulations to both players.

All members of The National Horseshoe Pitchers Association that participated in the Spring and
Summer Leagues received Certificates of Achievement (from the NHPA) with their Levels of
Achievement for each League. Each member also received individual patches for their High
Ringer Percentage Games for each league.
