After Where the Grasses Grow was released, Rimas spent time exploring his early synth-root influences. With a new studio arrangement (strictly computer-based), he returns to the scene with a chilling, tinty-sounding EP that's rich with analog riffs and TR-sounding drums. This work leaves much of the Where the Grasses Grow sound behind, yet subtle threads are still evident. "Anarchy" is the melodic gem of the EP, while "lost" appears on the most recentControl-Alt-Delete compilation (http://control.alt.delete.net/y2k/). "The Fury" was actually one of the first songs recorded after the Where the Grasses Grow album. |
