     Argentina: Revolution of the 25th of May

Source: "There are two main plausible dates for which Argentinian independence may be set [...] Effective Argentinian independence is dated from the revolution of 25 May, and in the absence of more accurate records the horoscope for this date is cast for 12:00 hrs. noon, LMT (Chart 9). The formal declaration of independence [...] was issued on 9 July 1816 by the Congress of Tucuman. The time for the declaration has not been historically confirmed, although horoscopes set for 2:00 p.m. and 12:04 p.m. have been published. It is recommended that in these, as in all cases in which adequate sources are not supplied, the times be disregarded. Chart 10 is set for 12:00 hrs. noon LMT in Tucuman."
