The Bretonnian Tri-lance 15 pts

This lance has a single base from which three pronged lances extend. It is quite heavy, so requires a special harness so the knight can hold and charge with it.The harness is a three piece rack that is mounted and secured on the horse, in front of the saddle. The knight cannot use a shield when charging nor charge as far as normal (at 1/2 the normal rate as this device inhibits the horses movement), but he gains 2 attacks which cause 3 hits each, with the usual +2 S bonus for charging. After the initial charge, the unit may use it's shields and attack normally with their hand weapons.

The Spear Box-Cart, there are two variations of this:

Light cart pts 200(crew included)

Horse 8 0 0 3 3 1 3 0 5 -
Squire 8 3 3 3 3 1 3 1 7 6+, equip as in the armies book

This cart is simply a shed like structure on wheels with many sharp spear points/stakes mounted on the front wall. Inside is a team of 8 horses, harnessed in a very similar chariot-like rigging (there are 2 rows of 4).The horses are invunerable to attacks from the front, and all other side and rear attacks hit at -2. Its manuevering is limited to wheeling. This is done with poles on the outside, by the crew comprising of 10 mounted squires, five on each side. Only two on each side is required to steer/spur the horses, with the remainder to fill in any casulalties. The cart is useless unless it charges of course. Any enemy unit in base contact recieves D6 S4 hits on a successful charge by the cart. Assuming the crew survive the counter atttack, they can keep on pushing the horses and contiune to make attacks.

For every horse killed the cart suffers a 1/4 move penalty. IF there are only two or less crewmen left, the machine cannot move.

The crew can be any knightly unit. The min. crew is just like the above light attack cart. However, what's different is the high platform on top and the metal plating armour on the cart. The number of warhorses is 12, in 3 rows of 4.

The cart attacks like the light cart. Knights on the above platform can also attack, once engaged,by stabbing down on the unit with their lances (or bows if archers). They hit with the usual +2 modifier as with charging with a lance, but this bonus applys in HTH as well! The enemy unit must have spears or halberds or missle weapons to attack the knights, and this suffers a -2 to hit penalty. The number of on board models is limited to eight.

The attack strength is more because instead of spears, the cart is fitted with lances, sharp iron bars etc...
