Mulitrack Recording
Multitrack formats our facility can offer range from industry standard
24trk-2" to non linear recording with our NED Direct-to Disk system
and new in '95, our "B" room offering linear digital recording
on Tascam DA-88 machines. For sessions requiring 48 tracks or more, we
can link all of these formats together with the Otari 24trk as the master.
In addition to these formats our new "C" room offers a very interesting
alternative, our Scully 1"-8trk machine circa 1969. For pre-production
or projects not requiring many tracks its discrete electronics and built-in
mic pre's make it a wonderful way to make a recording.
Digital Editing
Our Synclavier and Direct-to-Disk systems allow efficient editing in
the digital domain. Wether you are creating an extended dance re-mix or
flying in sampled background vocals, we can do it easily. You can use our
NED systems to replace recorded drums, to fatten chorus parts, to play
a sampled orchestra, to track directly to hard disk, etc... Our systems
offer flexible, intuitive tools with which you can do things that you never
imagined were possible.
Midi Production
Popular Macintosh sequencing software and our flexible MIDI network
make using your sequences and favorite sound modules an easy task. Complete
MIDI production services including composition, arrangement, electronic
music copying, etc., can be provided by our staff of talented professionals.
MIDI capable effect units and sound modules provide a new dimension in
mix automation and recall with editor-librarian software and advanced sequencing
techniques.
Syn-Aud-Con Certified
Mix in a certified Live-end Dead-end listening enviornment where no
unwanted reflections exist. Hear what your music really sounds like in
our acoustically neutral control room. This assures that when you bring
your mix home or bring your tracks to any other studio, you already know
how it will sound.

The "Synclavier Velocity Keyboard" by New England Digital,
and the anvil Rack's full of it's Brains, and the Direct-to-Disk Option.
Also the Otari 24 track -2" and Sony 2 track in the "Machine
Room". This is what sets this studio aside from all the rest. Quality
gear that produces high quaility end products at a reasonable price, to
meet all of todays highest industry standards.
The Neotek Elite 48 input Professional Recording Console with a Mackie
1604 built in, making a total of 60 inputs, if needed. Fully Automated
through the "Mega Mix" Automation System.
As always, to date top of the line "Analog and Digital
Equipment" is in use here at Aliprantis Recording studio, at all times, because you
deserve to have the best gear used for your music project.
Take your pick of Vintage gear to choose from, including old marshalls,
mesa boogie, and others available in the "Live Room"for that
particular sound you want to achieve. If your a keyboard player, and don't
want to carry your gear around, theres a couple of older keyboards in the
"Machine Room", but please feel free to use our Synclavier keyboard.
We insist!
Alot of time goes into final mixes to insure that it is done correctly.
We want to make sure that you get the best final end product that your
looking for. This is a picture of the owner at what he does best, and that
is producing quality!
Recently, James D'Aquisto II did some work with the "Synclavier
Music Computer". I know he was satisfied with the end results.
This is the Artist's Lounge with full facilities, from kitchen to full
bath, a living room with cable t.v., pool table, and arcade games, all
air conditioned. Notice the Ampex golden reel awards and gold records on the walls. It is a very
relaxed atmosphere down here at the 
BAT CAVE.
The picture on the left has Certification plaques from New England
Digital, along with yet another gold reel award from one of Big Daddy Kane's recordings, and the
infamous Church Gig of 1986 featuring the Synclavier Digital D'Aquisto
Guitar. The room is Syn-Aud-Con Certified, which means it was properly tuned and tested. There are no sound
impurities, that can be present in non certified control rooms. We have
a Certified LEDE' Control Room. See picture below of the certification.

Its hard to believe that we look so alive and kickin at five in the morning.
It just goes to show how far we can go to satisfy clients.
This is a 32 Track room with three Tascam DA-88's, a Mackie Designs
32 x 8 mixing console, Mega Mix Automation System, one live room, and one
iso booth. There are no compromises when its comes to the quality of the
gear in this room, as you can see.
