In a humanitarian effort Lord Luker went to the Court of Truth in Yew this week and visited the alleged FoA leader. Lord Luker said hello to which the Prisoner seemed happy to see a new face, but then when Lord Luker asked about the Followers of Armaggedon he refused to talk any further. Lord Luker left some food for the Prisoner and said a prayer for him and went on his way. The Mage's trial is set to begin soon. Lord British has been noticably absent for further comment and his Serpent's Crest Walls have vanished from the land. These Serpent's Crest walls were used by the Monarch to rally the people against the Followers of Armaggedon when they were reportedly gathering strange reagents to cast what was dubbed the "Armaggedon" Spell. Some word of lost lands has surfased as a possible explanation and result of this group's actions. Fanatics to some, pundits across the land have differing views about the FoA, only time will tell as to how the trial commences and how our liege Lord British, wherever he may be, is satisfied with the result.
In preparation for the upcoming trial, the alleged Leader of the FOA has been placed in a maximum security detention cell in the prisons at the Court of Truth in Yew. Expecting a harsh sentence for the turmoil he allegedly caused, the Court hopes to learn why the armaggedon spell was conceived, how the special and unique reagents were gathered by the FOA and how the impact of this new type of spell will impact the safety and well being of all Britannians. The FOA leader is charged with Treason, Terrorism, Attempted Assasination of Lord British and Resisting Arrest. He could receive a life in prison or hard labor for his crimes according to Prosecutors, "We have never seen a more dangerous criminal in the history of our land." The people are seeking answers and hoping for final closure on what has been a most trying time in the recent history of our realm. Defense Attorneys are rumored to have consulted several authorities in the Land and plan to mount some form of necessity of action defense or temporary insanity, Grant Adams of Skara Brae is his lawyer and recently granted an interview to the Town Crier, where you can keep up to date on this and other late breaking news. The Trial will not be open to the public for fear of a lynching, but we will keep you up to date.

With his grey accomplice Octavier, the red Ghostfacekilla player killed the good miners Jalon Butabi and MINI-Miner of our division Stone Mining Company in Minoc. Swooping to the rescue Lord Luker was able to handle these vile criminals thru lethal execution of magery and combat. Twas not too long of a battle, Octavier was taken out first and then Ghostfacekilla was chased down for his crime. When asked why he pked last week, Ghostfacekilla said he just didn't feel like mining. Oktavier had a different take on the pking, Lord Luker advised them not to harm the miners and take their combative ways to a nearby dungeon such as Covetous if they know what is good for them.
Lord British recently had a bit of a nightmare he imparted to his palace guards, the story is recollected as follows: Lord British was startled awake damp with sweat by the suddenly loud, irregular clapping of the curtains leading out onto the balcony of his bedroom. He slowly opened his eyes, and stared at the mural that graced the ceiling of his bedchamber. For the past several mornings, the once vibrant colorful images appeared to have been sapped of energy, as though they were painted with the lifeless, grayish morning light that was filling the room around him. The lifelessness of the painting was reflected in Lord British because as of late he woke each morning listless and fatigued. The flapping of the curtains became louder, and more violent. As if watching himself in a dream, he felt himself lean forward drawn by the sound. Long skeletal fingers of the arid dawn pushed into his already warm room. The balcony doorway appeared to be a large winged creature caught in a hunter's trap, desperately struggling against its bonds. The beatings of its finely woven wings came in erratic, powerful snaps. Almost unaware of his own movement, Lord British felt himself rise from his bed, and move towards the balcony... 
A party was held at the Serpent's Cross Tavern today to celebrate its one year anniversary. This player run establishment is nestled in the Woods northeast of Yew and is a sanctuary for many a traveller. Often there are players who volunteer to tend the bar and good conversations and company can be had for all. There is a message board on the front where visitors can leave friendly messages for one another. The message of this tavern that in reality order and chaos are more alike than different rings true, for why should followers of different monarchs always be at one another's throats over a simple philosophical belief system? Indeed the harmony and peace message of the Serpent's Cross tavern is one we could all stand to learn something from. All visitors to the tavern are asked to refrain from combat at this player run establishment but sometimes these requests go unheard or defied. Tonight was no different with the guild 
I delivered the drinks and kindly asked Maud D'ib to have his guild leave in respect for the game and the establishment and they did so. These player killers can often be found in Deceit I have oft seen Maud D'ib noto-pking players who turn grey. Our Alliance of Virtue has declared the Serpent's Cross Tavern a protectorate of ours so if our good allies would like to visit the tavern and help defend it from player killers please do. 
We have a rune locked down in the rune stack in our shop in Minoc it is the second rune from the top in the northwest corner inside our house there in Minoc. Our shop in Minoc is located east of the stables of Minoc in the Northeast corner of the city along the water just north of the mountain it is the first house.
