Set in feudal Japan, Usagi was the daughter of a very respectful military
official, and she despised the lowly commoner, Mamoru, who was a son of
a farmer. Due to her father's downfall, she was forced to become a shirabyooshi,
and she met Mamoru again under such circumstance. When Mamoru's hatred
for Usagi changed into a totally opposite sentiment, he was compelled to
choose between morals and his own heart. The story offers us a completely
new view into the relationship between Usagi and Mamoru, in fact, their
intial opposition is totally different from the traditional storyline.
Sailor Jes blended not only the characters nicely into the setting,
but also the ethics of the society.

in Usagi and Mamoru's developing relationship. These few added twists might
leave you agonizing over their ignorance toward each other's feeling, but
it was these twists that made the story distinctive. The story starts with
Usagi and Mamoru being in high school, but it soon develops into a heart
