KISS OF THE DRAGON

Plot: Action superstar Jet Li and internationally acclaimed filmmaker Luc Besson (The Fifth Element, The Professional) join forces on this film. This thriller revolves around a Chinese intelligence officer (Li) who goes to Paris on assignment, and becomes embroiled in a deadly conspiracy.

"Kiss of the Dragon" is a vehicle tailored to the talents of Jet Li, who produced the film and came up with its story, in addition to taking the lead role.

Hong Kong martial arts films have always had two main strains, the acrobatic flying through the air that Western audiences sampled in "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," and the fists and kicks of fury championed by Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and now Jet Li.

The films has two acrobatic action sequences. One involves a pitched battle on one of the bateaux-mouches (tour boats) that travel the Seine, the other has our hero taking on an entire class of martial arts adepts all decked out in their traditional white garments.

Cast Paydays: The reported salaries for the stars this sequel are $20 million for Chris Tucker and $15 million for Jackie Chan. Note: Isn't this a Jackie Chan movie, or at the very least, a "buddy buddy" movie?!?! Movie with Rick Yune in the cast

Plot: Vin Diesel and Paul Walker star in the action-adventure film. This film is a fierce and frenzied look at rival Los Angeles street teams who use street racing as a means of establishing power.

The film includes Jordana Brewster, Rick Yune (Snow Falling On Cedars) and Michelle Rodriquez (Girlfight). Walker stars as a rookie cop who goes undercover, posing as a racing team member, in order to investigate truck hijackings.

Managing to ingratiate himself with the team's leaders at first, he finds himself in jeopardy when the other members begin to suspect an imposter within their ranks, setting the stage for an exciting climactic showdown.

Directed by Rob Cohen (The Skulls) and produced by Neal H. Moritz (Cruel Intentions), The Fast and The Furious will feature the sleek and powerful designs of the modified vehicles along with the heart-pounding adrenaline rush of the great racing action.

LATEST NEWS: With a cast of white, Hispanic, black and Asian actors, the movie drew wide-ranging crowds. Half the audience was white, 24 percent was Hispanic, 11 percent was Asian-American and 10 percent was black, according to distributor Universal.

Hironobu Sakaguchi - creator of FINAL FANTASY

Description: Movie is based on the popular computer game of the same name . The entire movie is CGI and done well. The plot is that a meteor crashes into earth, releasing llots of little aliens that kill humans. The surviving population hides in the remaining cities. The military comes into play, and one person has the key to defeating the aliens, and she is terminally ill with an alien infection. Plus the key is hidden in her dreams. Looks promising!


Production Background: Hironobu Ssakaguchi, having conceived and designed Final Fantasy, decided to create the basic story and movie himself.

Hironobu Ssakaguchi worked with a talented crew that included an animator from Disney, a storyboard director who worked on "The Matrix," computer graphics and special effects people who worked on "Titanic" among others.

Accompanied by animation director Andy Jones ("Titanic"), motion capture directors Remington Scott (who did the motion capture for the Turok games for Acclaim) and Jack Fletcher (Aeon Flux), staging director Tani Kunitake ("Fight Club", "The Matrix"), and other artists, Sakaguchi sought to have graphics-realistic human characters.
