The Anime Story
The original form of Hawk's Eye was that of a hawk of course. Hawk's Eye was sent out to get the new target [Usagi-chan] even though Fish Eye had claimed to have found Pegasus' host. The Amazones Quartetto's sent out one of their clown-lemures after the three to dispose of 'unnecessary things'. He protected Fish Eye from an oncoming blast which turned out to be a fatal one. Usagi-chan's dream mirror was broken and Hawk went down. Tiger and Fish decided to use the power that could keep them in human form to save Sailor Moon. Fish Eye released Chibi Usa-chan and she defeated the lemures with Sailor Moon. The three transformed back into their animal forms and closed their eyes. By the powers of Pegasus they were reborn and given beautiful dream mirrors.

Personality
In his persuit of beautiful dreamers, he would go after older women because he believed they were kind and knowlegdeable about the world and also nurturing. Younger women did not interest him in the least so he would always let Tiger's Eye get those. This would lead me to believe that this character likes to be pampered and loved tenderly.
