Dear Veterans and interested Team Handball Players (Men and Women),

The USA Deaf Team Handball (USADTH) and US Deaf Team Committee are starting to prepare for 2003 America Cup in Washington, DC and 2005 Deaflympics in Australia. The USADTH organization will host first tryout for men and women National/Development teams. The Head Coach for each men and women team and the selection committee will select 14 players for each national and development team. The tryout will be held at Model Secondary School for the Deaf on Gallaudet University's campus in Washington, DC on the weekend of March 7-9. Please review attached schedule for the tryout.

You will need to be there for registration before the tryout start at 6:00 pm on Friday, March 7 and leave anytime after 1:00pm on Sunday, March 9. You will be responsible for your own traveling expenses including lodging and meals. Also, you will need to register and pay fees before participating in this event. The fees for memberships and event are listed below:

USADTH Membership: 	$20
USADSF Membership: 	$10
Participation: 		$20

Total fees: $50

Note: Write a check of $50 to USADTH and explain in memo: fees for USADTH, USADSF and participation fees. The Participation fee will be used for facilities, coaches' traveling expenses, trainer and other needs for this event. The membership fees will be used for effective organization as well as future programs for athletes.

You will not be allowed to participate in this event if you haven't registered. You can register by either sending a check in mail to: Richard Jacobs, USADTH President, 9004 240th Street SW, Edmonds, Washington 98026 or pay at the door. You can make a donation to be a member of USADTH and USADSF if you do not plan to participate in tryout. The memberships are good for year 2003.
