Here's the next part. Like the first one? I hope so. I don't own Sailor Moon but I wish I did so don't sue. You know the disclaimer. In my story Serena doesn't know that she's the Moon Princess, nor that Darien's the prince of earth. This is a mature Serena in the Beryl times. I hope I cause no offense to anyone because I don't mean to. Enjoy!! MAS MERRY*CHRISTMAS*MERRY*CHRISTAMS*MERRY*CHRISTMAS*MERRY*CHRISTMAS*MERRY*CHRISTAMS* Finding Christmas Love-Part Two-PG Serena knocked on Darien's door with a couple of bags filled with her most important belongings making the sides bulge on the extremely heavy luggage. Darien opened the door with a smile that surprised Serena, 'he looks cute when he smiles.' She walked in taking a better look at the bare apartment. It had dull white walls with a couch and a TV. There were few knick knacks to show the personality of the owner. She shuddered at the bareness. 'Why isn't there a sign that a person lives here?' she thought to her self. There was something eerie about the emotionless apartment. Darien broke through her, "The guest room is yours. It isn't very large but you can do with it what you want." He said pointing to a door off of the living room. Serena nodded and took her stuff into 'her' room. If she thought that the front was barren then this was an empty desert without even a cactus. The only furnishings in the room were a twin bed, a dresser and a bureau. The walls were also white. Serena started planning how to liven up the room as she put her stuff on the gray comforter. Darien asked if she needed any help unpacking but she declined his offer opening the top drawer of the dresser. She unpacked all of the clothes for the dresser and opened the medium sized closet. There were some hangers that she filed quickly and went to Darien to see if her had anymore. He gave her the rest of his which barely finished off her clothes. Darien watched attentively as Serena unpacked her clothes. After the clothes were up she took a few pictures out of her bags and placed them on the bureau by her bed. She gazed sadly at the pictures before adding a few bunnies stuffed animals to the dull bed. Darien thought about how he was going to keep people from finding out who she was. He pondered the thought for a while on his couch until the blond girl walked somewhat happier out into the living room. "Thank you, Darien. I always thought you were a conceited jerk but you're being really nice and I owe you more than I could ever repay." Serena said sincerely. Darien got a weird light in his eyes as he thought of how to disguise Serena and she wasn't going to like. "Serena," he said sweetly, "You know that you are going to have to change how you look to get away with this, right. I mean the Meatball look is cute but anyone would recognize you on the spot. Also your eyes are rather unique, so large and a different blue than I had ever seen. We're going to have to do a lot to make sure no one figures you out." Serena gave Darien a confused look. "What am I going to have to change?" He smiled and told her his plan that she frowned at more each second. Darien went to get the supplies and some decorating tools Serena had asked for. He came back with a box of brown hair dye, non prescription green contact lenses, a few scrunchies and hair clips, and a do-it-yourself hair trimming kit. Serena started to run when she saw the equipment but Darien had predicted her reaction and been ready for her. He sat her a chair by the bathtub with her head hanging over the inside edge. Darien brought down the nozzle and washed the petite girls long hair. After that he squeezed the extra water out and pulled a comb through the thick, silky hair. Tears ran down her face as Darien clipped the long hair to right below her shoulders. The cuts her straight and even. Serena looked at her reflection, amazed that the person looking back was herself but she knew that Darien wasn't finished yet. "Do you want dark brown, Light brown or medium," Darien asked looking at the back of the package. Light she answered as he mixed the rinse into her hair. Darien watched the time and rinsed the rinse out Serena's hair. He blew it dry for the second time that day and even fixed into a straight yet full due that parted in the center with a wave and layered in the front so that it fell in towards her face, complementing her soft features. Darien gave her the contacts and all of the cleaning instructions which he warned her to follow to the "T" so that they wouldn't give her and eyes infection. Serena read over everything, including cleaning and how to get used to wearing contacts. There was a time schedule for to follow and she popped the plastic sheets into her eyes carefully. Her eyes watered a little but she smiled. Now was her chance to start over. The rest of the day Serena stayed in her room decorating it with a pink/light blue sheet set, pink posters, a pink bunny lamp went on her bureau next the photos, and a pink and light blue rug that matched the white carpet well. She also painted all of the trimming and bases light blue and splattered the walls with pink. Darien liked how the room looked and Serena's personality matched the surroundings. She had out herself into the room, even if she now had medium brown hair with aqua eyes. Her eyes still stood out but in a different way. He knew he would miss the blue pools that would only see around the apartment but he liked the unique color the contact lenses made. The next day a report of the missing girl was everywhere. Darien took Serena to a place he had heard of that made fake I.D. It showed Serena Tsuskino as Sere Thompson form Washington. Serena knew English well and knew she could pull that one off. It also said that she had parental permission for her to live with Darien and he was to get her a tutor who just happened to be him. They out that Serena was sixteen, which she liked and got her a picture I.D. with a fake Social Security number (I don't know if they have social security numbers in Japan so bear with me). Soon they were walking back towards Darien's apartment. "Wanna get a soda?" Darien asked as they neared the arcade. He wanted to test Serena on Andrew knowing that if Andrew couldn't tell he was really good at the disguise stuff. Serena nodded nervously trying to push her fears aside. The arcade's heater was a nice relief from the cold weather outside. It was still only the second of December she remembered. It seemed as though years had passed between the day before and that day. Darien took her hand and guided her to a booth. She smiled at the warmth and closed her eyes, being content for the first time in what seemed like years. She sat across from Darien and he saw her relax and a real smile come across her face. Andrew must of come up because he heard him clear his throat. "Hey Andrew! I would like you to meet Sere. Sere, Andrew. Sere's here's from Washington. I met her family once when I was there and Sere came to learn in Tokyo from yours truly." Darien said bragging at the duty he gave himself. Andrew looked some what startled at someone sending their child for Darien to teach but he was proud to be friends with a person held in such high esteem. Andrew glanced the girl over and noticed her captivating eye. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Sere. I hope you enjoy your stay here. How long will you be studying here?" Andrew asked the girl who was looking at the menu contently now as though she had never seen it before. "I'm not sure yet," Sere answered in a slightly different voice that if you were looking for a similarity in voices you could find with Serena Tsuskino but Andrew didn't notice. He smiled at her and responded, 'Well, you're always welcome here. Make it your second home if you wish. I know another girl who did that," his eyes darkening as he looked towards Darien, "Did you hear about Serena? She's been missing since yesterday and no one has a clue where she is." Darien, being a great actor never even flinched. He just looked shocked for a second before saying how it was too bad this and so horrible that. Soon Sere was almost ready to burst out laughing. (From here on I'm going to try to remember to call her Sere when she's in public but I might miss in a few spots or a few million:) How would Andrew react if he knew how crazy he sounded saying right in front of her that she was missing. As they finished their sodas, Raye and the other scouts walked in talking in hushed voices of their lost leader. Raye saw Darien sitting with the brunette and anger filled her eyes. She casted a scornful look at Sere as she walked up. "Hello Darien, and who is this?" Raye asked between clenched teeth. Between Andrew's reaction to her 'disappearance' and Raye's jealousy Sere was having a hard time not laughing her head off in the middle of the arcade. Darien introduced her the same as he had to Andrew and none of the girls saw that Sere was their missing leader. Darien gave Sere a helpless look and Sere said that they had to go to an appointment they had made to get Darien's hair trimmed. She also noted that that might not be a bad idea as they left the arcade. later that night Sere and Darien were laughing about the day and the arcade. "You should of seen the evil eye Raye gave me. I thought I'd burst out laughing when she came over all huffy. It was hilarious!" Sere said laughing loudly. The first full day had gone well and nobody had a clue who Sere really was. They sat down on the couch after dinner and watched TV, Sere not even noticing that she was snuggled up right in Darien's arms. She took out her contacts and put them in the container and fell asleep in Darien's arms. MERRY*CHRISTMAS*MERRY*CHRISTAMS*MERRY*CHRISTMAS*MERRY*CHRISTMAS*MERRY*CHRISTAMS* Good? Bad? Praise? Flames?
