Hi, minna! This is another short fic I'm working on. It'll probaly be huge by the time I get through with it, though. Well, just to let you know--I don't own Sailor Moon--what, you're surprised? Sigh. I wish I owned Darien--Now what I wouldn't give---um, anyways--this is just the prologue, so it's gonna be short. Also--for those of you reading "Hidden Secrets", chapter 9 probaly won't be out for awhile unless I get some suggestions. (HINT, HINT) Reeny crawled quietly to Serena's door, which had been left open a crack. She had to get the Crystal! She knew that brat Serena had it. She'd wait until she fell asleep, then she's snatch it. Serena's wasn't even in bed, though. She was sitting by her window, staring up at the full moon. She held something in her hand, and Reeny heard a sob. She wondered what Serena was doing. She heard Serena speak, and she listened very carefully. "Oh, Mother! I know that I have not been acting like a good daughter lately, but I want to ask you something. Can you give me back all my memories? I have the ones with my last time on the Moon, but nothing before that. Not even growing up and learning how a princess was supposed to act. Please, Mother. I would like all my memories back!" Reeny was trying hard not to laugh. Serena, a princess? And why was she talking to the Moon? Serena heard a voice in her head. Serena nodded firmly. Serena nodded again, and pulled out her locket, and with a shimmering of power, made the crystal rise up out of it. She changed into her former self, Princess Serenity. Reeny observed Serena in silence, especially when she took out her locket and made the crystal rise out of it. But what really shocked Reeny was when Serena changed into someone with a long white gown. She coud see Serena's face a little, and she stifled a gasp when she saw the crescent moon on her forehead, just like her mother's. "I am ready, Mother." She said. A shimmering light flowed around Serena, and her crescent moon glowed with an internal light. The crystal glowed, too. Serena's eyes were shut, and she appeared to be asleep. Reeny waited a few more minutes before she was sure. Before she could go near Serena, though, he body vanished from it's spot on the window. The first thing that went through Reeny's mind was Darien. She ran over to his apartment, and began banging on the door. (Much like Serena.) So much like her, in fact, that Darien thought she was Serena. "Serena...." He began, then saw Reeny there, her eyes large and scared. "Reeny? What's wrong?" Reeny threw herself into Darien's arms and started sobbing. Darien took her into his apartment. "So, you said Serena changed into this flowing white gown like your mother's, and had a crescent moon on her forehead?" Darien asked. For some reason, Darien didn't seem that shocked by it. "And then what happened?" He asked. Reeny took a deep breath. Darien probaly wouldn't mind this part too much. "She vanished." She said. Darien's eyes grew wide. "SHE WHAT?!" Reeny winced. "She vanished. She was there one moment and gone the next." Darien ran a hand through his hair. "She couldn't have. Oh, my god. Please let her be okay." Reeny was giving him a strange look. "But Darien...now she's out of the way I can have you all to myself." Darien turned on Reeny. "NO! Don't you understand? I love her. More than anything! She's my princess, my love, my soul-mate! I swore to protect her and I failed! Utterly failed." He went to the balcony, and stared pleadingly at the Moon. "Queen Serenity, please, let me be with your daughter! Let me be with my princess!" There was a sound of laughter in his ears. There was a flash of light, and Darien and Reeny vanished from his apartment. Reeny went back to the Tsukino house, and Darien went somewhere he knew very well, but hadn't seen for a thousand years. The Moon Kingdom. Told you, ne?
