Hi, minna! Do to alot of requests, here is the next part of "Remebering." I want to thank all the people who e-mailed me with their comments, to my pal, Mako-chan who writes the best fics, to ASMR for posting all my stories, and to the great Naoko Takeuchi for inventing Sailor Moon in the first place. Remembering Part 2 by Sailor Starlite MemoryStar@juno.com Darien stared around him, confused for a moment. This place looked very familiar, somehow. Like he had seem it in a dream. He turned around slowly and was rewarded by the view of the Earth in the distance. He gasped, suddenly realizing where he was. The Moon Kingdom! He had asked Queen Serenity to be with her daughter, and she sent him to the Moon Kingdom. And it looked like it was in good condition, too, like the NegaVerse had never attacked. "Prince Endymion! Good, you are here! Serenity is anxious to see you." Darien looked down to see a small furry shape. "Luna!" Luna hadn't talked to him since she had found out that he had broken up with his fiancee. She was very unhappy with him, and nobody else was really thrilled as well. The only one who treated him fairly normal had been Andrew, and even he was pretty cold to Darien. "I am ready, Luna." He said with a smile. He couldn't wait to see his princess again. Then, he realized with a jolt, the signifigance of what he asked Serenity. To be with his *princess* again, not Serena. He groaned inwardly. He knew that the princess and Serena were the same person, yet totally opposite. It was like he and Endymion....Endymion! How dare he deny his previous self the love of his princess...he belonged with Serena, and Endymion belonged with Serenity. He wondered what would become of this.... Serena stared around her, knowing this place, yet not knowing it. Was she still dreaming? Or had she been given a second chance to be with her prince? For the one she saw before her was Endymion, not Darien, not even Darien reverting back to his previous form. She felt her heart constrict with happiness. She was back with the one who truly loved her. She remembered how Darien told her that he wouldn't be ruled by the past. That Prince Endymion loved Princess Serenity. She wondered what Endymion would say if he figured out that she wasn't exactly the Princess Serenity--she had all her mannerisms and memories at the moment, but she wasn't her--she had so many more burdens on her heart and soul. "Serenity." Endymion whispered, and took her into his arms. "I am so glad to see you." Serena smiled, and leaned into his embrace. It was unfair to the real Serenity, the original soul of her, to have this time with Endymion when the time with him was so short....she knew of this meeting...how he had snuck up to the Moon Kingdom to see her...Mother had accepted him, after she learned of her daughter's love, but other memebers of the Royal Court were not so forgiving....She decided to just enjoy this time with Endymion, for she knew in her heart of hearts that it would not last long. Queen Serenity smiled at Sailor Pluto. "So, neither of them is aware that are not truly back with their "original" beloveds, but an alternate reality?" She asked. Pluto nodded, a smirk growing across her own face. "Everything *is* accurate, to a T. Darien can see how much he loved his Princess, but will realize how much more he loves his Serena, too. Serena is also learning the lesson here. Although Darien was being cruel when he told her not to be ruled by the past, he was also being truthful. Serena loves Darien for being Prince Endymion as well, not seeing him as Darien. By this lesson, they will both see how different their love was then, and how much sweeter and freer it is now." Queen Serenity nodded appovingly. "I am sorry to deceive them both in this way, but as you said, it must be done so that the timeline flows in its proper direction." Pluto nodded again, and they viewed the young couple, rediscovering their past. Darien let himself be led along by Luna, along the secret pathways of the garden, where Serenity was awaiting his arrival. He smiled when she came into view---she looked just like his Serena...except for some noticeable differences. Where Serena's hair glowed like warm sunlight, Serenity's hair was silver. Her eyes were still the same vibrant shade of blue, but the happiness in there was different. Total innocence stared out at him, and a regal air that could not be denied. She got up gracefully, and smiled at him. No running into his arms with a squeal of delight, no rib-crushing hug that would make him wince in pain. He wondered how he was supposed to act around this refined person. He ached inside. All he wanted was his Serena back. Serena wondered what to say to this Endymion who was treating her as if she were as fragile as glass. At some points, he would stare at her a little funny, as if something she said or did was out of character. She twirled a lock of hair around her finger, and then stared at it. "Nani?" She whispered, falling into her old speech. "Gin?" (AN: Nani=what, Gin=silver) Endymion stared at her. "Hai, Serenity...It is silver. You act as if it is supposed to be a different color." Serena shook her head. "Oh...it looked...blonde for a moment...and when I stared at it again, it seemed to flash between silver and blonde. Gomen nasai. Endymion." He smiled gently at her. "It is just probaly the stress of your studies, Serenity. It is hard, I know, but soon we can relax." Serena stared up at him, wondering what he was talking about. It seemed that there was a lot more to her old life than she truly expected. Princess Small Lady Serena stared up at the Moon, the same place her mother's kingdom once stood, and where Serena and Darien supposedly were now. Could Serena be her mother? It was a strange thought. She wondered how her mother and father were doing in the future, when a time gate opened in front of her, and Reeny stared at Neo-Queen Serenity, her mother. "Small Lady, you are wondering what has been happening, right?" She asked. Reeny nodded, wanting so bad to hug her mother. Her mother saw this and held her daughter in her arms comfortingly. "I will explain what I can about my past, dear, and then maybe you will be able to face what troubles lay ahead much easier." Reeny listened very carefully as her mother explained the Moon Kingdom and what had happened to it. She told the story of a regal princess and her handsome prince, who fell in love despite the fates being against them. How her mother had given her a second chance as Serena Tsukino on Earth, to become stronger, to have fun, to grow up without having to worry about all the problems that constricted her freedom in the past. And to love Endymion all over again, with new opprutunities. To meet Endymion again, who had his second chance being reborn as Darien Chiba. "So that's why Darien liked Serena so much? Because he was destined to?" Serenity shook her head firmly. "Serena thought so though, and who could blame her? The only times Darien ever seemed to be nice to her is when he was about to die, and he remembered that he was the prince. He whole life revolved around finding his princess. And when he truly found her, he dumped her and said that he didn't want to be ruled by the past." Reeny stared at her mom, some things making sense. "But...the past has to deal with the future! If he doesn't listen to himself as he was in the past, then the future will never be!" Neo-Queen Serenity nodded gravely. "Serena and Darien are both learning their lesson right now. I hope that all goes well, or the future will cease to exsist all together. Once they arrive back, Small Lady, then it is up to you to make sure that they love eachother as they are now. They are discovering how much they loved eachother in the past, as we speak, but their present relationship holds great signifigance for the forming of Crystal Tokyo and the New Silver Millinnium." How's *that* for an ending of a chapter? Now that I'm rolling here, I guess there *will* be more. E-mail me at MemoryStar@juno.com
