Author’s Note: Hi everyone! This is my first fanfic, so please be kind. This
is a story of the love that my favorite SM characters share. This is a Serena
and Darien story. It takes place in the Silver Millennium. I’m sorry but I’m 
going to use the NA names because I’m not too familiar with the Japanese 
names. Sorry. 
- - means thoughts.
Usual disclaimers apply. I don’t own Sailor Moon and the characters but 
the story is my own. Please don’t sue me, OK?

          Forever Destiny: In the Silver Millennium.........
         
*~* Earth *~*

Endymion groaned. " But, why mom?"
	"Why what, Endymion?" replied his mother, the Queen of Earth.
	" Why do I have to marry Serenity?" he asked angrily. " I don’t even 
know her! How could dad, Queen Serenity and you do something like engage your
children when they were only 5 and 1 years old?!"
	" I’m sorry, son, but we had to engage you two because it is the only
way the Earth and the Moon will have assured peace with each other. Besides, 
you haven’t met the Princess. Maybe you’ll like her," the Queen said, 
sounding sure of herself. " We are going to the Moon tomorrow so you can meet
her."
	"But, mom--" Endymion protested.
	" We are leaving tomorrow," said the Queen firmly.

*~* Moon *~*

"Mom! I can’t marry Endymion!" Serenity protested.
	" Serenity, calm down. You’re not going to marry him until you’re 18.
You have three years to go! I just want you to meet him. You’ll love him, 
he’s a sweet boy," Queen Serenity said peacefully.
	" I’ll meet him, but I’m not promising to like him," Serenity said 
slowly.
	"Look sweetie, I invited your guardians to come so they can start 
watching over you. You remember them, don’t you?" The Queen said, smiling.
	"Of coarse I do! At least I’ll have them here when Endymion comes!"
Serenity cheered. "Thank you mom."

	After the conversation with her mom, Princess Serenity went to the 
rose gardens and sat near the fountain. 
	- I can’t marry Endymion. I don’t love him. Besides, I’m not over 
Andy. I loved him so much! Then he goes and marries some other girl. I can 
never love another!- thinks Serenity and runs to her room, to cry more tears
over Andy.

	The next day, Serenity was getting ready for her guests to arrive. 
She had decided to wear her beautiful, white silk gown that had its spaghetti
straps made out of small, crescent-shaped diamonds, beautiful white shoes 
made of a silk-like material, and for jewelry, crescent shaped earrings and 
ring.
	Because of the fact that the Earth Royal Family and her guardians 
were coming, Queen Serenity had decided to throw a ball to honor their 
arrival and had told Princess Serenity to let her hair down and to put 
small moon-shaped diamonds in her hair.
	" Princess, hurry! The guests have arrived!" Luna, her cat, came to
tell her.
	" OK, Luna,"Serenity said and turned to face her loyal cat.
	Luna gasped. " Serenity, you make a beautiful 15 year old! Endymion 
will be impressed."
	" Thank you, Luna," said Serenity, smiling.
	Serenity reached down and picked up Luna and then she walked out to 
the gardens, where Endymion and his parents were with her mother.
	- Here goes-Serenity though and took a deep breath.
	" Hello, I’m Princess Serenity," she said, shaking their hands and 
smiling.
	The King and Queen of Earth smiled and introduced themselves, 
" We are the Queen and King of Earth and this is our son and your fiancee,
Endymion."
	Serenity looked at the floor as the Prince took her hand and kissed 
it lightly.
	" Princess," he said.
	" Hello, Prince Endymion," she said half-heartedly, still looking at
the floor.
	Then, Endymion looked at Serenity for the first time. He had to stop
himself from gasping.
	- My God. She’s so beautiful- he thought.
	At that moment, Serenity looked up at him. Her heart started pounding
harder, faster. His intense blue eyes were looking at her and they seemed so
kind. A lock of his jet-black hair was falling over one eye and he looked so
handsome.
	-Stop it, Serenity,- her mind whispered.- You love Andy,- it seemed
to say.
	But looking at him, she was confused by this sudden feeling, a 
feeling of love. Serenity shook this feeling off.
	"I believe we should let Serenity and Endymion have a chance to talk 
alone," said Queen Serenity, breaking the Prince and Princess from their 
trance.
	" Good idea," said the King of Earth.
	Queen Serenity led her guests towards the throne room.
	The Prince and Princess stayed in silence for a long time.
	"So, Endymion, do you want me to show you around the Royal palace?"
Serenity asked finally.
	"OK. That’s fine with me," agreed Endymion.
	Serenity showed him around the palace and by the time she was done, 
they were back at the gardens and it was dark. Serena sat down by the 
fountain. She and Endymion had been talking for a long time and now they were
like old friends. She even had a pet name for him. Darien. She didn’t know 
why she chose it. It had just suddenly come to mind.
Darien had chosen the name Serena for her.
	" Darien, the ball starts in an hour and my friends will be arriving 
then. I think it’s time to go in."
	"Later," he said. He sat next to her and said softly, " Serena, did 
you know you’re beautiful?"
	Serena blushed and looked up at the earth. (AN: Remember? They’re in 
the moon)
	"Isn’t the earth beautiful?" she asked, her eyes sparkling.
	"It doesn’t compare to you," Darien replied.
	"Oh, Darien!" she said as she punched him playfully.
	She stood up, suddenly embarrassed. "Lets go in."
	Darien stood up.
	Serena started walking towards the direction where Darien was because
the ballroom was that way. At fifteen, Serena was very graceful, but she was
so nervous right then, she tripped on a rock. 
(AN: some things never change, I guess :)
	Serena braced herself for the fall and involuntarily shut her eyes 
tight. She opened them when she realized that she had not fallen and that a 
pair of strong arms had caught her.
	Serena looked up to see Darien’s eyes full of amused love. Love for 
HER.
	She finally knew.
	She loved Darien, not Andy.
	She loved him and he loved her.
	Darien wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close. Their kiss 
was soft, yet passionate. It felt so right.
	Right then, they both knew.
	This was destiny.
	Their love was forever.
	Forever Destiny.
	

OK, OK. Not the greatest story. Sorry it’s my first. *Venus on her knees*
