Konnichiwa, Minna-san! Sorry for the one week delay, but I almost haven't any time to dedicate to anything, except to study. Plus, this chapter starts with a REALLY interesting conversation between Motoki, Anasauma, and Mamoru. Special thanks to P-120 and me me for their wonderful e-mails. Authors need that kind of e-mails to keep going. THANKS!!! Disclaimer: I don't own Sailor Moon, and I'm not making any profit out of this. I'm just an obsessed fan of the series (specially Mamo-chan ^.^), so please, don't sue me. Since I'm only seventeen, and in my first year of University, I don't think that you can win anything, anyway. This story is rated PG-13 "The course of true love never did run smooth". ~ William Shakespeare @->---@->---@->---@->---@->---@->---@->---@->---@->---@->---@->--- "Symtoms of Love" Part 2 By Yukino Tenshi "You're a fool, Mamoru-kun, you know that, don't you?" Where the words that greeted Mamoru upon entering the gym. Mamoru blinked, confused. He certainly hadn't expected to be greeted like that, especially because it was Anasauma, not Motoki, the one who said that. Usually Anasauma was the calm and collected of the group, but now he seemed extremely annoyed and frustrated. Meanwhile Motoki, the one that was always high on breathing air, was calm and collected. It almost seemed that they have switched places. So, he asked the only possible question. "Why are you saying that, Anasauma-kun?" Mamoru watched, amazed at Anasauma's reaction. He growled and tried to reach him, apparently trying to knock (literally!) some sense in him. But Motoki, in a surprisingly quick movement, grabbed him, stopping his attempts to reach his intended target. Unable to break free, Anasauma yelled, frustrated: "You baka! Don't you realize that if you keep hiding your feelings, you're going to loose Usagi-chan forever!" Anasauma's words had a stronger impact that a punch in the face. Mamoru turned inmediatly several shades paler, and his iris widened. Almost too stunned to speak, he barely managed to croak in a choked whisper the first question that crossed his dumfounded mind. "What do you mean?" Motoki, still struggling to hold Anasauma still sighed, and replied him in a tired manner. "Don't you realize it, Mamoru-kun? She has known you like forever! And sooner or later she is going to realize that you're hiding something from her, and she will believe that you don't trust her anymore. And that, my friend, will end your friendship forever." Mamoru recieved the full impact of Motoki's statement. 'They're right' He realized with a start. 'If I don't tell her the truth, I would loose her!' Anasauma, seeing that Mamoru had finally realized his dilemma, started to calm down, and in a more gentle voice, he said, "Gommen ne, Mamoru-kun, but you HAVE to tell her soon. She has already noticed that you're acting out of character, and it won't be long before she discovers the truth." Mamoru's eyes, untill then slightly unfocused, suddendly focused on Anasauma's eyes and asked in a shaky voice, "How do you know that?" "Well, today, before we talked to you, she asked me if I had noticed something unusual in you. She told me that lately, you seemed more distracted than ever. I tried to reasure her as best as I could, but I know that it won't be long before she realize that you're hidding something." Anasauma answered, a bit reclutanty. Mamoru passed a shaky hand trough his hair, and said, in a hollow voice, "I know I had to tell her about my feelings long ago, but how I'm supposed to tell her how do I really feel about her? That I want to be so much more than 'Just friends', that each day is pure hell, mostly because I'm so afraid that she could fall in love with one of those bakas that are constantly arround her, and yet it is also heaven, just because she may give me a smile? Or that when she is sad is much more painfull to me than to twist a knife in my heart? Or that she is my everything, that I need her to exist?" Anasauma smiled gently. "Hai, I think that that could work just fine, Mamoru-kun." Mamoru moaned pityfully. "But how in green's earth can I do that!" At that, Motoki grinned mishievously. "Oh, I think that I know how to do that." Anasauma's and Mamoru's jaw fell to the floor, while they where thinking 'Motoki with an idea about this?!' Motki, a little anoyed by now, responded to their unspoked question, "Hey! I can have good ideas to help my friends love life too!" As if on cue, both replied at the same time "Yeah, right." with laughter aparent in their voices. At Motoki's annoyed expresion, Mamoru quickly sobered down, and asked, "Ok, ok, Motoki-kun. What's your idea?" For a split of second, Motoki considered to not to tell Mamoru about his idea. But one look to his lovesick friend decided him otherwise. It would be too cruel to keep that idea from him. Plus, Motoki didn't have any doubt that if he tried to actually hide something that may get Usagi and Mamoru together, Mamoru will most likely get it in any possible way, most of them really painfull for Motoki. So, he started to tell them his idea. As Mamoru heard Motoki's idea, a light began to grow in his eyes. A light that people have when one of life most important things apear when everything seems lost. The light of hope. @->---@->---@->---@->---@->---@->---@->---@->---@->---@->---@->---@->----@->--- Wow, what could posibly be Motoki's great idea? Aren't you curious? I know I am!
