Marinduque: How to get there?
PAL flies from Manila to Marinduque daily taking 45 minutes. The airport is near Gasan, 13 km from Boac. Boats also sail each morning 0600 -1000 from Cotta, near Lucena City (Quezon) to Balanacan and Buyabod (Santa Cruz); they also depart from the Marinduque ports to Cotta about 0600; crossings take four hours. From Mindoro, a boat departs Pinamalayan for Gasan and Balacanan twice a week, sometimes thrice a week.
The province is accesible mainly by water transportation and is serviced
by several shipping lines which launch ferry goods and passengers to the mainland of
Luzon.
Air transportation is provided by Philippine Airlines at the national airport in Gasan.
