WE LOOKED SOOOO HAPPY!

I MISS YOU BILL!!!
Red Rose, Growing

I have made this site in loving memory of my wonderful brother Bill who was taken by a drunk driver 7/8/97.  My brother and I grew up pretty close knit. We had the same friends, had the same likes, and were always together. Three days before my Brother's death we had thrown our parents a HUGE surprise 30th wedding anniversary party. It was great!! My brother even danced with my mom! She will always remember that. (He hated to dance but for some reason he did that day). Some of our friends and relatives were there from out of state and everyone got to see him. When I left the party I last saw him sitting by the bon fire with his fiancee and he smiled at me. That was the last time I saw him alive!  He was a wonderful guy and I want everyone to know that!! I will always miss him, but I am also very happy to have the many wonderful memories of him! I will always cherish them.

Seeing Billy was extra special to us, we made him the ultimate stone!  It stands 5 feet tall and is amazing. The #77 was his race car number.  The dash between the birth and death dates is a Chevy Bowtie emblem. My dad wrote a "book" on the back so that when you read it, makes you feel like you "knew" him.
(It is located in West Monroe, New York)

THE BACK OF BILLY'S STONE READS...

YOUR LIFE HAS AFFECTED SO MANY

EVEN THOUGH WE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE MORE TIME WITH YOU HERE ON EARTH,
WE ARE SO GRATEFUL FOR THE TIME WE HAD WITH YOU.
YOUR YEARS HERE WERE SO SHORT, BUT YOU WILL LIVE ON FOREVER
IN THE HEARTS AND MEMORIES OF SO MANY.
YOUR ABILITY TO BE YOURSELF AND ENJOY MAKING THE MOST OUT OF WHAT YOU HAD
MADE US VERY PROUD OF YOU AND HAS BEEN AN INSPIRATION TO SO MANY.
YOU HAD THE LOVE AND RESPECT OF SO MANY PEOPLE OF ALL AGES BECAUSE
YOU SHOWED THEM RESPECT AND ACCEPTED THEM FOR WHAT THEY WERE.
YOUR SMILE, THAT WAS SO WARM LIKE THE SUN,
WILL CONTINUE TO WARM OUR HEARTS EVERYDAY.
YOUR FRIENDS, OH SO MANY,
LIKE THE STARS IN THE UNIVERSE ARE ALL INDIVIDUALS,
BUT WHEN SEEN TOGETHER GIVES A FEELING THAT NO WORDS CAN EXPRESS.
THE DAY WE LAID YOU TO REST THERE WERE SO MANY FRIENDS
AND A LINE OF CARS SO LONG THAT NO ONE COULD COUNT.
YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY COVERED YOU BY HAND
OUT OF LOVE AND RESPECT.

DAD
