'68 Chevelle
Richard and Sharon Lanphere-Upstate New York

SIR WILLIAM'S CHEVELLE This is a picture of our son William's car which he purchased in 1996 with no motor or tranny and in need of restoration. He did not have the intent of having numbers matching original Chevelle; but, when he was done, he wanted to have a nice/clean street car that he could drive. It was going to be his show car replica. He was killed by a drunk driver and only had the frame work done. Dad decided to finish the car and go cruisin' with it. Five years after Billy was gone, Dad drove the car out of the garage and to the Syracuse Nationals and we have been crusin' all summer. It is a very special car to us and it was finished the same way it was started. No numbers match; but, it is a great cruise car. Our definition of a show car replica.

'37 Hudson Terraplane Pickup
Owned & Built by: Dan Dowdy of Street Rods by Dowdy----Dolan Springs, AZ

We first found this truck in September '93 in Jermor, ID. The truck was an 8 year project in which the cab was chopped 3" in front and 4" in rear. Cab and doors were also stretched 7" to make it more proportionate with the front end of the truck. Doors suicided with hidden hinges and remote locks, electric windows installed. Glasurit "Black" paint applied with House of Color "True Blue" and Blue Pearl Gothic Flames. Adjustable ride height-thanks to Air Ride Technologies Systems. Motor is a 433 Chevy with a 671 Blower. Also has been seen in the Good Guys Show that was sent in by Mike Levy-April 5-7, 2002 on page 4.
