site is created as part of my thesis in School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering
of The University of New South Wales, Australia.
The aim of my thesis is investigating the technology in communication and manufacturing
information system that is suitable for enterprise integration. Enterprise Computer
Telephony Integration (CTI) is a powerful combination of telephone system with the
enterprise's information assets. Despite the fact that CTI can be applied to make
the production and communication flow more efficient, it has not been applied widely in
the manufacturing industry.
This site provides useful information about CTI and concentrate mainly in IP Telephony.
Hopefully this information will make more manufacturing industries turn to CTI for their
own benefits !
