Modeling and Showbiz : After quitting the medicine line she got interested in modeling and showbiz. She did some ads for Lakme and others and brilliantly stood as a runner up in Femina Miss India Contest' 1994 (Though every person who saw her there apprehended that she was much more beautiful than the Miss India/Miss Universe Sushmita Sen). She won the Miss World title in 1994 at the pageant held in Sun City. Her beauty and wits were unmatched among the other contestants and especially eyes, the green blue gems received appraisal from the critics. It was nice to know that the beauty goddess has so much generosity as to donate her eyes to the eye-bank.
Movies and Bollywood :
She got into films next and her first movie release was Iruvar(Tamil). Then the movies followed like
