"Blue" had his debut at the Scotttish Boxer Club Championship Show, in March 2009, under breed specialist Sandra Parle. We were more than delighted when he was 1st in a lovely Minor Puppy Dog class and thought the whole day was great fun!

He had his next outing a week later at the Essex & Eastern Boxer Club Championship Show, where despite a long journey and his first "sleep over" he once again won a big Minor Puppy Dog class under another breed specialist Sue Drinkwater.

With a couple of 2nds at his next shows, he returned to top spot at the Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show, under breed specialist Joe Smith, where he won Best Puppy Dog and the following week at Southern Counties, under Sweedish Judge Annmarie Maeland, he went one better winning Best Puppy In Breed.

With a second at his next show he then went to Border Union Championship Show where once again he won Best Puppy Dog which he repeated at National Working and Pastoral Breeds in July.
At the British Boxer Club Championship Show at the begining of August, under Helen Banks, he was again Best Puppy Dog and the next day at Paignton Championship Show under Ferelith Hamilton he was Best Puppy In Breed.

His next show was Bournemouth Championship Show under Barbara Morrison where he was Best Puppy Dog being beaten by his kennel mate Walkon Atomic Rooster for Best Puppy In Breed. Not to be outdone however the same day he competed in the Pro Plan/Dog World Puppy Stakes and won Best Puppy In Stakes All Breeds over all three days of the show qualifying, under all rounder Derek Smith, for the National Finals.
This was followed by the Welsh Kennel Club Championship Show, his last in puppy, where he was Best Puppy In Breed bringing to an end a very sucessful puppy carrer with 8 Best Puppy Dog and 3 Best Puppy In Breed awards.

On leaving the puppy classes "Blue" continued his winning ways with seven 1sts on his next ten Championship Show outings in Maiden, Novice and Junior and at nearly 15 months won his 1st CC and Best In Show at the South Wales Boxer Club Championship Show under judges Andrew Brace and Pam Broughton.

He opened his account for 2010 with another 1st in Junior at Manchester Championship Show under all rounder Meg Prunell-Carpenter, going on to the Pro Plan/Dog World Puppy Stakes Finals where he was shortlisted in great company! This was followed in early March by the Mancunian Boxer Club Pup Of The Year where in strong competition he was Runner Up Best Dog.

At the Northern Boxer Club Championship Show at the beginning of April was 1st in an excellent Yearling Dog class and was considered for the RCC. Since then he has been consistently in the first three in both Yearling and Limit Dog classes winning the RCC at Paignton Championship Show in August under breed specialist Wendy Mitchell in strong company, and finishing 2010 with a string of good Limit Dog Championship Show class wins at the Trent Boxer Club under Veronica Feaver, Working & Pastoral Breeds Of Scotland under Ilona Osten-Schenk and South wales Boxer Club under Amanda Jinks.

"Blue" has had a good start to 2011 adding a further two Limit wins to the three he won at the tail end of 2010. The first was at the Northern Boxer Club Show where under breed specialist Arthur Butters he won the RCC and two weeks later at Working & Pastoral Breeds Of Wales under breed specialist Eric Hancock he won his 2nd CC. Throughout the year he was consistently placed in the first three in Limit Dog winning a further RCC at Leeds, in July, under all rounder Jack Bispham and finally winning his way into Open at Midland Counties in October. To date, he has to his credit 4 CC's, three with Best of Breed, 6 RCC's, 1 Best In Show and the Working Group at Midland Counties 2013.

Not only is he proving to be an asset to the WALKON show team but he is proving to be an asset as part of our STUD team. His first Champion gained his title during 2011, and he is currently the sire of two other UK Champions, two Australian Champions and three other CC & RCC winners her in the UK.
