So like his father, Beern Skittles, in looks and temperament "Mickey" also shares some of his dominance as a stud dog.
"Mickey's" show career got off to a flying start with several Best Puppy in
Breed awards, winning his first RCC at 11 months. He won his first CC 5 months
later and gained his title within 11 weeks.
On reaching the open dog class he shared
1st & 2nd place with his father many times and indeed they took the CC and RCC between
them on five separate occasions.
In total he has won 7CC's, 7RCC's, 4 Best of Breeds, 1 Group 3 and 1 Best in Show. and in addition he was Top Dog in 1997.
"Mickey" is the sire of four UK Champions, Ch Seacrest Danoli At Carmondene
(BOB at Crufts 1999), Ch Gervalmark at Gryffe via Glenauld, Ch
Bucksteps Starlite Express and Ch Boxken Big Issue. He is also the sire of S.A. Ch Walkon Who Dun It, two Norwegian Champions and an Icelandic Champion.
In addition to this he has sired six other CC & RCC winners in the UK including
our own Gervalmark Tap Dance To Walkon
& Walkon Chip Off The Old Croc.
He was always a perfect gentleman and a true asset to the kennel.
