Stradbally

I spend most of my holiday time in the Stradbally area ,usually staying in Ballyvooney and I would recommend anyone looking for a good relaxing holiday to start here.

If you are thinking of touring the South East coast of Ireland please make sure you stop in Stradbally.

Stradbally is situated just off the coast road between Bonmahon & Dungarvan in County Waterford. It has a very nice Cove and is suitable for people of all ages with its sandy beach. It also has a Village Store and Two Pubs.

The Comeragh Mountains are within minutes of the village by car and have some spectacular views and walks. The local scenery is breathtaking at most times of the year.

Stradbally has also featured in the Tidy Towns Competitions.

The village has been a Finalist in the National Competition several times and has previously obtained a Bronze Medal

It is very well maintained by a dedicated band of volunteers who take great pride in the area that they live and work.

There are links to the Stradbally Website which includes links to the GAA Club site and Photographs of the Village on my links page.
