The word "peaceful" is redundant.
The obvious first step is to end military aid to all
countries, including Israel. It would also be to stop
propping up dictatorships and monarchies.
A libertarian America would formally apologize to Iran
for overthrowing President Mossadech and imposing the
Shaw as absolute monarch, for similarly overthrowing
the elected government of Syria, and for fuding Iraq
to wage war with Iran once the Shaw was deposed. It
would also formally apologize to Iraq for covertly
funding Iran and bringing that war to a long and
bloody stalemate, and for giving Iraq promises that we
would not intervene in an attack against Kuwait, and
then using that attack as an excuse to wage a massive
assault against Iraq.
Finally, it would recognize that Israel was created by
mandates of foreign powers, who have no right to
impose their wills on indigenous peoples, and would
recognize the rights of the *entire* population, by
democratic process, to create a single government or
multiple governments according to the desires of those
peoples. We would take no action in any case, as our
jurisdiction ends with our borders, but we would state
our views that Israel's right to exist and be
recognized by us as a legitimate country is subject to
her acceptance of the indigenous peoples as full and
equal citizens, not just after the fact, but in the
construction of the government from the ground up.
