This is the first live action movie based on this particular Marvel character with David Hasslehoff from Baywatch fame in the lead role. He is joined by Lisa Rinna who plays Valentina Allegro de Fontaine - his love interest and Sandra Hess who plays the villain of this piece as Viper. |
| The story takes place some five years after Nick Fury has retired from S.H.I.E.L.D. (Supreme Headquarters International Espionage Law-Enforcement Division). When Viper (Hess) threatens the world, Nick Fury returns to S.H.I.E.L.D. and joins his ex-lover Val (Rinna) and other characters to save the world. |

Not a bad film with some interesting special effects and an easy to follow plot but the acting lets it down and Hasslehoff just doesn't fit the character of Nick Fury. Still, it is a good first effort and I myself wouldn't mind seeing a follow up-as long as they pump a few more bucks into the production. |
