Glenn Danzig: Vocalist 1983-1987Born on 6/23/55, Glenn was Samhain's singer and songwriter,
although he also contributed (at one time or another)
guitar, bass, keyboard, piano, and drums while recording
albums. He graduated from Lodi High School in 1973 and was
in several cover bands before forming The Misfits. When he
left the band in 1983, he immediately formed Samhain with Misfits
photographer Eerie Von. In 1987, Glenn changed the name of the band
to Danzig, his current band.
