GCWC has had an active Weimaraner Rescue Program for many years.  Our Rescue Chairperson is Debbie McDaniel who has done a fabulous job rescuing and placing Weimaraners who have lost their homes.  Most of our fund raising efforts go to our Rescue Program (see Gifts)

We are always in need of homes to foster rescue Weimaraners until a suitable home can be found.

The following dogs are available for adoption:

1. HARPER - in Charlotte, NC a wonderful, beautiful neutered male.
2. SAM - 4 yr old neutered male, likes kids, cats other dogs, has had obedience training - likes to eat SOCKS so needs to go to a home that does not leave socks laying around!
3. BEAU - in Charleston, SC nice, neutered male.
4. SIMONE - in Va Beach, VA - adorable, playful small spayed bitch.
5. WALTER - 4 yr old neutered male - too active for the child that is in the home.
6. ALSO - a 4 yr old spayed female and a 1 yr old neutered male - given to present owner because previous owner was too ill to care for them.  They both like kids and other dogs but  did try to kill a cat so present owner cannot keep them.  Present owner would like for these dogs to be placed together.
