My first ever breed, way back with SMD3
The White Wolf, also known as the Arctic Wolf, is a subspecies of the gray wolf. They're classified as Canis lupus arctos. They are usually found in Canada's high Arctic, ranging from Melville Island to Ellesmere Island. They are a creamy-white color. Their white hair shafts have more air pockets than colored wolves which keeps them warmer. White wolves have been reported as far south as Minnesota. There hasn't been any documented cases of albino wolves, but Barry Lopez, author of Of Wolves and Men reported a white wolf with pink eyes shot by an aerial hunter in Alaska.
