Ciburuy Lake The town has been long famous for its pulp manufacturer, which was built during the Dutch Colonialism. It was one of the two pulp manufacturers existing in Indonesia at that time. Padalarang is also famous for its line manufacturers managed by individuals or by private companies. It has unique nature condition. Which calcium deposit hills soar up the sky. It is a tempting place for mountainside climbers to practice. Lake Ciburuy which provides an additional point to the area, lies on the right side of Bandung – Jakarta. In the early 19885, it was renovated and equipped with food stalls,fruit stalls, art-shops, restaurants and canoeing facilities.
