I always thought
that I would be
Who you'd come to
when you need...
Something that
would make you smile--
Or you just want
to talk awhile.
I always thought
somehow you'd know
There is one place
you can go...
Where you never
have to hide
Anything
you feel inside.
I always thought
someday you'd see,
This is where
you're meant to be...
Close together,
hearts entwined.
I always thought
that you'd be mine.
