NEW USES OF TRANSFERRED FACILITIES

The following charts describe several of the transferred properties in some detail (previous use of the facilities; use by Panama today; the value of the facilities (at the time of sale, lease, or other arrangement) established by the Interoceanic Region Authority (ARI for its acronym in Spanish), the Panamanian agency responsible for accepting, administering, and marketing the facilities to local and foreign investors.

800-Numbered Facilities -- on Andrews Boulevard near Albrook front gate: 

812 -- 800 Area buildings on both sides of Andrews Blvd

Originally barracks; from 1947 to 1989, it was Headquarters of the  Inter-American Air Forces Academy (IAAFA).
