We are a campus
organization founded last year. Our main purpose is to educate the university community
and the public
about the controversies surrounding post-secondary education. We are not
affiliated with any political party, but we share a common interest in the rights
of students and the importance of education in our society.
We
discuss matters such as the continuing privatization and commercialization
of post-secondary education, tuition increases and the resulting student
debt crisis, and how funding decisions made by governments and university
administrators affect students.

GET INVOLVED!
The A2K Committee always welcomes new members. We are currently
in the process of planning events for this school year and we need your help.
Our next meeting is TBA but we will post the info as soon as possible.
NEW!
We demonstrated along with other social justice activists at the Tory
Policy Convention in Toronto on October 20. We will be displaying pictures of this event
and giving first-person accounts of what happened as soon as possible.
Read the A2K Committee's editorial about our objections to this government here.
Naturally, one
of our biggest concerns at this protest was, and continues to be,
post-secondary education.
