Comments by Jeremy: 08-10-2004 Long Lake in my opinion is an up and coming fishery (hopefully). Icefishing early on can be really productive. The gills are getting larger and I think the crappies are coming on. Spring & early summer 2002 was real good. Lake is getting a lot of fishing pressure however. I don't know how long the size structure can hold up for the gills and crappie. I fished the lake a good deal in the 2003-04 ice season. The bluegill were mostly medicore, aside from one day when I did get some individuals in the 8inch range. The crappie are numerous. I did well for crappie there this winter, but the size structure is still poor. Give it 2 to 3 more years.

To get there locate Reedsville WI on a map. Take Manitowoc Rd West out of town (Its the only Road going west out of town besides Hwy 10) After about 4 miles, you will come to a stop sign. Trun left. You should be going south on Long Lake Rd. After a very short while the road will make a sweeping left curve. On the curve, take a right on E County Line Rd (may be called Long Lake Rd). After you go about an eighth of a mile you will see it on the right hand side of the road.
