Brian Says: This lake is known for its springtime Crappies. This lake averages about 15 feet. Try some humps near themiddle of the lake. In front of the bar, the hump goes from about 25 feet to 3 feet. Try this for nice Walleyes. Have your gear ready, because I have seen some dandy Walleyes out of this lake. Try the northwest shore for bass & northerns.Bait can be bought at Cecil (minnows, leeches, crawlers, waxworms,) or at the tavern on the lake (Crawlers). Excellent boat landing, but a small fee is charged.
