Apple-Cranberry Wontons
Ingredients
- 2 medium apples, grated
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 2 tbsp packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground allspice
- 16 wonton skins
- 1 servings cooking spray
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- In a medium bowl, mix apples through allspice together.
- Place one wonton skin on a flat work surface and spoon 1 tablespoon of
apple filling into the center. Moisten the edges of the wonton skin with
water and fold in half to form a triangle; press edges to create a seal.
Repeat with the remaining wontons.
- Arrange the filled wontons on a non-greased baking sheet and lightly coat
wontons with nonstick cooking spray; sprinkle with granulated sugar and
cinnamon.
- Bake until golden, about 16 minutes; turn and bake 2 more minutes. Yields
2 wontons per serving.
