Ingredients
- 1/8 cup slivered almonds, about 2 tbsp
- 4 cup water
- 2 cup uncooked old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Directions
- Place almonds in a medium saucepan and set pan over medium-high heat.
Cook, shaking the pan frequently, until the almonds are golden brown, about
2 to 3 minutes.
- Add the remaining ingredients and bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to
medium-low and simmer until the liquid is absorbed, about 3 minutes. Yields
about 1 cup per serving.
