Ingredients
- 3 cup water
- 1/3 cup dark brown sugar, packed tightly
- 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon, or to taste (or 1 cinnamon stick)
- 1/2 cup black coffee, grounds
- 3 cup fat-free evaporated milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
- Bring water, sugar and cinnamon to a boil. Add coffee and turn down heat;
simmer for 5 minutes.
- While coffee is simmering, heat evaporated milk in microwave on low or
over a very low flame; do not let it boil.
- Strain coffee through a coffee filter. Add vanilla and heated milk; stir.
Yields one cup per serving.
