X-Pac vs. Bad Ass Billy Gunn

Mr. Ass

Mr. Ass and X-Pac started feuding at the end of April of 1999. After X-Pac just lost one friend to the corporation, Billy Gunn decided there was something more important than friendship. The tag belts that X-Pac and Kane had was enough for friends to become enemies. In a match between the New Age Outlaws and Kane and X-Pac, Road Dogg was pushed into Mr. Ass when Gunn had X-Pac in a press slam. The nudge was enough for Gunn to drop X-Pac on him and X-Pac got the win. In the weeks that followed, Gunn faked an apology and instead beat down X-pac. In a match on Raw, Gunn successfully pinned X-Pac. Only it wasn't for the belts. The feud picked up again right before KOTR '99. X-Pac, Road Dogg, and Kane took on The Acolytes and Mr. Ass for the titles. Mr. Ass pinned X-Pac and declared himself half of the WWF Tag Team Champions. At KOTR, X-Pac and Gunn fought for the coveted title of King of the Ring. Mr. Ass won with a top rope fam-ass-er.
The next chapter in this saga started not long after KOTR. HHH, Chyna, and Mr. Ass realized X-Pac and Road Dogg were getting rich off the DX name. HHH gave Mr. Ass Chyna to get the name back. The RAW before Fully Loaded gave us a 6-Man tag with The Rock in Road Dogg and X-Pac's corner. The tag match at Fully Loaded between X-Pac/Road Dogg and Chyna/Mr. Ass was for the rights to DX. X-Pac and Road Dogg won as Road Dogg hit the pumphandle slam for the victory. Now Billy should be done with X-Pac, but is he?
The feud between these two is officially over as they are now back on the same side. DX reformed on Otober 25 at RAW.

That all changed on October 2 when Billy Gunn made his return to the WWF after sitting on the sidelines for 9 monhts with a shoulder injury. Gunn was kicked out of DX after No Way Out in Februrary when he cost The New Age Outlaws the tag team titles. Gunn came back and immediately took his frustrations with DX out on X-Pac.
