X-pac vs. Shane McMahon
The Shane McMahon X-Pac feud actually began when D-Generation X saved Mankind from a beating by the corp.
X-pac got Shane in the corner and gave him the bronco buster. Needless to say, the boss didn't like this too much so he forced X-Pac into matches against the corp.
Shane finally got his shot at X-Pac in a tag match that pitted Kane and Shane against X-Pac and HHH. If Shane or Kane pinned X-Pac, they would win his title.
Shane knocked out X-Pac with the belt that Chyna threw in the ring then Kane dragged Shane on top of X-Pac making Shane the NEW European Champ. The next night at the Raw tapings, X-pac issued a chalenge for Wrestlemania 15.
Chyna said X-Pac had to go through her to get to Shane. X-Pac fought her and beat her setting up the match for Wrestlemania. Shane then cost HHH and X-Pac the tag champions when
he interfered in a match between the champs, Jarret and Hart. X-Pac chased Shane around and got himself counted out.
In the weeks leading up to Wrestlemania. Shane established himself by beating O.L.D. (Patterson and Brisco dressed up as L.O.D.). On the Raw before, Shane challenged X-Pac to a Greenwhich street fight.
X-Pac graciously accepted Shane's challenge only to get mugged by the Mean Street Posse moments after the fight began. At Wrestlemania, the Mean Street Posse had front row seats, but never needed to interfere in the match.
Shane was taking some pretty good bumps from X-Pac and it looked like X-pac had the match won. Test interfered, but he got bronco busted. HHH and Chyna came to ringside to make it look like they were helping X-Pac. HHH pulled Test from the ring.
Then he got in the ring himself, He ended up giving X-Pac the pedigree and helping Shane retain the belt.
Shane officially retired the European belt on April 4 to end the feud between Shane and X-pac. There was one more European Title match after the belt was retired, but Shane used some back-up to keep the belt. Shane keeps sticking his nose in X-Pac's business. He caused Kane and X-Pac to lose their tag belts to The Acolytes by hitting X-Pac with a chair as he was attempting the bronco buster. It seems Shane just can't keep out of X-Pac's business. After this attack, Shane has decided to focus his attention in other areas leaving X-Pac alone and ending this feud for now
