Jinks - The perpetually confused heroine. Jinks lives alone in a shitty one-room apartment where she writes plays that nobody likes. She is constantly fired from jobs, often because her grip on reality isn't all that stable. Jinks often sees things that other people don't... like talking cabbages or leprechauns. Whether she is hallucinating or actually seeing these things is a mystery to all. The fact that she may be insane doesn't bother her a bit, mind you.

Simon Takehito - The normal one. Simon works at a tattoo/piercing pagoda and lives with his rocker boyfriend Debauchery. He is by far the most stable character in the series and is the only one who seems to realise that if you don't pay the rent, you are evicted. His sanity bothers him sometimes. The only thing he really fears is his Japanese mother.

Debauchery - Sex On Legs. The lead singer of Doubtful Absolution, Deb has no actual day job and so sponges off of his long-suffering boyfriend Simon. That's not to say he's ever in want of anything however, since he uses his amazing Sexin' Powers to manipulate men and women alike. Despite his slutty aura, he is actually completely devoted to Simon. So far, nothing has been said about his suspicious resemblance to Kouji Nanjo of Zetsuai fame...

Lazarus - The man who cheated death. Lazarus was, once upon a time, the drummer for Doubtful Absolution. One fateful day he choked to death on a Cheezy and was buried, which proved to be a problem when he awoke inside his coffin. Lazarus managed to make it back to the land of the living, but has very little memory of who he was before dying. He is plagued with the mystery of WHY God brought him back. Other people suspect he did not die at all, but was merely buried alive... or had a lobotomy.

Aborted Fetus - Just charming. Bassist for Doubtful Absolution. Rumour has it that he was named for what his mother wanted him to be.

Mrs. Takehito - Totemo kowai. Mrs. Takehito moved away from Japan with her lover, who proceeded to ditch her for a porn star. Sadly Mrs. Takehito was already pregnant and couldn't stand the thought of returning home in such a state, so she stayed and gave birth to a baby boy. She named the boy after the only present her ex had ever given her... some weird beeping game. She knows her son is gay and has no problem with this... provided he gets married and has kids.
