Hung Gar (Hung family) can also be called Hung Gar Kuen (Hung family fist) the founder of Hung gar was the Shaolin layman Hung Hei Goon who taught in Guang Dong. Hung Gar fist art is the well known school and is the top of the five southern families, the five families being Hong, Liu, Chai, Li, Mo.
