Dear Mr. Stone,
I have reviewed your PayPal account and the issue regarding your inquiry concerning firearms and would like to take this opportunity to update you on the situation that you reported and offer further explanation concerning the issue.
PayPal is in no way opposed to the sale of firearms, and has no official stance on the sale, ownership, or use of firearms. PayPal users are free to make use of their PayPal accounts to conduct transactions concerning the sale of any product or service that is deemed to be legal for sale under the laws applicable to both the buyer and the seller involved in the transaction.
However, PayPal has chosen to not allow the sale of firearms on any website or storefront listed in PayPal Shops. This decision has been made due the varying restrictions and laws concerning the sale of firearms within the 42 countries in which PayPal currently operates. This decision in no way restricts PayPal users from conducting transactions for firearms with PayPal accounts as mentioned in the preceding paragraph.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to reply directly to this message. You may also contact customer service by visiting http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_contact-general, or by phone at 402-935-7733.

This frankly sounds like lawyer doubletalk bullshit to me, and I'm inclined to (politely) say so.
I'm intending to have a look at their list of "disavowed" products, just to see if they have any besides guns. If this is anything other than a bullshit justification for contributing to the success of the would-be slaveholders of the 21st Century (e.g. the Federal and State governments), there should be LOTS of things PayPal won't list, right?
For example, Nazi memorabilia is illegal in Germany, so theoretically anyone who sells antiques with a Nazi background should be prhohibited from listing, right?
E-mail to wrstone@wrstone.com with advice as to how to proceed would be appreciated.
