at the appeals hearing i remember that either tom rawles or john buttrick was on the stand answering questions from the judges and one of them said something like
alp has refused to obey elections laws because they are unconstional.
i was suprized when one of the judges (i think the female leader) responded said something like
"they (alp) have committed a crime and should be punished"
could that statement mean the judge was biased and had no intention of giving alp a fair shot and see if the election laws were unconstional?
second if that satement did show bias is that statement part of records of the court proceeding? or was the only one who got a copy of it was powell with his tape recorder?
since we dont have a lawyer anymore (or a lawyer with lots of free time) whould it be possible to see if the ACLU would be interested in the case.
the fact that only libertarians im pima county can elect PCM and us folks in maricopa county cant elect any one would seem to say the laws are biased.
i was talking to the ladys who runs the aclu in arizona 2 weeks ago and she know buttrick. does anybody else have any inside info
