This is some scarey stuff:

Authorities obtained the warrant after a neighbor called the U.S. Marshals Service to report suspicions that Beck was stockpiling weapons and falsely claiming to be a U.S. marshal.
"They were afraid of this guy out there. He was just acting too goofy to be a law enforcement officer like he claimed," said William Woolsey, spokesman for the Marshals Service.

So they try to serve a warrant on a guy because a "citizen" thinks he is stockpiling weapons. The guy doesn't honor the warrant. A shootout ensues and the place is burned down (Oh, btw, they don't know if he did it or if the tear gas cannisters started the fire. Sound familiar?)
Since when is a neighbors accusation of stockpiling weapons and the guy acting "goofy" enough to obtain a warrant? And for what? Personating a Police Officer? Oh, police officers don't act goofy?
