if you have been around arizona state university and the university of arizona over the years you will notice that they grow by buying the property around the universitys and slowly expand outward.

at asu the latest growth property is the tempe center on mill & university which was bought by asu. its slowly being converted from a business use to university use.

one thing that neither ASU or the U of A does is buy out churches and convert them to college uses. while business and homes around the campuses get bought out and converted to university use the churches around the univesity dont get bought out. the chruches just stay their and become partof the campus.

on classic example is the mormon church on the asu campus just east of the asu college of engineering. and you have that catholic church over on university and college.

i dont know how to say this in legal terms but it seams that the university is biased and refuses to buy any property that is used for supernatural uses and convert it to college uses. but on the other hand the universitys spread like cancer and buy out any non-christian property and convert them to college ses.

anyhow thats something else to talk about at this weeks american atheist meeting.
