Malaysia is a tropical country just north of the equator where the temperature ranges from 21C to 32C.  Not surprisingly it is a world leader in aircon manufacturing.

Malaysians love to call everything by their initials hence the capital Kuala Lumpur is always called KL.

KL is a thriving modern metropolis generally well spaced out and quite green.  The name, meaning 'Muddy Confluence', came from the two rivers that join at the heart of the city centre.
