Oakland jumps on Kansas City early building a 28-7 lead before settling into trading scores. Rich Gannon throws a pair of TDs and Zach Crockett and Tyrone Wheatley each score in a dominating 1st half.

Gannon finishes 20-of-31 for 242 yards and 4 TDs, while Wheatley adds 112 yards on the ground.

The big start helps offset 504 yards passing by Elvis Grbac. After Gannon's 20-yard TD pass to Rickey Dudley for a 31-10 lead in the 3rd quarter, Grbac connects with Derrick Alexander on a pair of TDs, and he runs for another. Alexander has 9 catches for 139 yards.
