Raiders claim the AFC West crown in championship fashion, whipping the Panthers 52-9.

Rich Gannon tosses 5 TD passes, and Oakland dominates from the 2nd quarter on. Gannon gives the Raiders an early 7-0 lead with a 4-yard TD toss to Jeremy Brigham, then adds 2 more TD passes in the 2nd quarter, the later a 9-yarder to Tim Brown that makes it 24-6 with :19 left in the 1st half.

Gannon adds 2 more TD passes in the 2nd half while Eric Allen and Darrien Gordon score on a pair of returns for the defense.
